Florida Prepaid College Plan
The Florida Prepaid College Plan was introduced in 1988 and is the largest prepaid college plan in the country. Families have purchased almost 1.4 million Florida Prepaid College Plans since the inception of the program. Building on its experience, the Florida Prepaid College Board introduced the Florida College Investment Plan in 2002 to give families another way to save for college. The Florida Prepaid College Plan and the Florida College Investment Plan offer the flexibility and options to help reach college savings goals.
Florida Department of State
The Florida Department of State serves artists, archivists, preservationists, librarians, corporate officers, voters and many more. The Secretary of State serves as Florida's Chief Cultural Officer and Chief Elections Officer, and is custodian of the official state seal. All Florida residents are touched in some way by the programs, services, and activities of the Department of State.
Volunteer Florida strengthens Florida’s communities through national service, fostering volunteerism and leveraging resources.

The first two-time Gold Medal winner honoring the nation's best state park system, the Florida Park Service is one of the largest in the country with 160 parks spanning 700,000 acres and 100 miles of sandy white beach. From swimming and diving in Florida's rivers and springs to birding and fishing or hiking and riding on natural scenic trails, Florida's state parks offer year-round outdoor activities for all ages.

Just Read, Florida! makes reading a priority in Florida's public schools and among the community groups and volunteer organizations that support them. The Hispanic Heritage Month recommended reading list serves that goal while increasing students' interest in the many aspects and contributions of Hispanic culture to the state of Florida.
